At The Hackney we are fortunate to be blessed with a beautiful building and outdoor space that lends itself to a variety of different types of events, be they casual or more formal. The Hackney also houses one of the best restaurants in Eastern North Carolina, a distillery and a whole hog BBQ so our team is well equipped to cater to your food and beverage needs.

The Hackney Outdoor Space

The Hackney has different spaces that can be utilized for different sized events.
Our beautiful main dining hall has double height ceilings and houses a beautiful bar. This area seats up to 60 people at a formal sit down dining or up to 100 for a reception.
The mezzanine looks over the main dining hall from a balcony. The mezzanine takes up to 40 people for formal sit down dining or for a reception. It's the perfect space for a rehearsal dinner or business entertaining. There is very little interaction between the mezzanine area and the main hall so you can make speeches or presentations without any worry.
The combined space can take up to 100 for formal dining or 140 for a reception.
Our kitchen team can deliver a range of dining experiences from formal sit down banquets to pick up food.
The Hackney has recently added an outdoor space to our offer. The outdoor area is over 2500 square feet and can accommodate up to 200 people. It sits between The Hackney and our neighbor Two Rivers Brewery and includes a whole hog BBQ.
In the near future we will be opening up a doorway from our distillery bar to the outdoor space which will increase the range of uses.
