Whilst living in England, Susanne prepared and Nick consumed many Cricket teas. The hero of a good cricket tea is always the scones, preferably with clotted cream and jam.  So when we opened The Hackney we really wanted to offer this wonderful experience.

There's something magical about a perfectly cooked scone liberally coated with clotted cream and topped with a big dollop of jam.

Our cream tea is served the a wonderful pot of Damann et Freres tea.  Cost is $15 per person.

 

Cream tea is offered every Saturday  from 12pm to 2pm.  .
